For the pumpkin pie spice, I used 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon each of nutmeg and ginger; I also reduced the walnuts to 1/2 cup and put in 1/2 cup of raisins, as there weren't any dates. Contrary to instructions, these only need to be baked for about 18 minutes.
